Job Description:
1. Set-up, adjust, and operate slide machines (fourslides & 28/33/35 Baird multislides) to form, bend and punch a variety of work
2. Work from drawings, specifications, patterns, or templates
3. Use caliper, micrometer, comparator & other measuring equipment
4. Sorting and packaging parts
5. Strong mechanical aptitude
6. Verify quantity & quality of material
7. Moves raw material to and from production areas as necessary
8. Empty scrap luggars and performs miscellaneous tasks as required
9. Operates overhead crane while moving product
10. Complete & maintain all required paperwork
11. Maintains a safe & clean work environment & departmental housekeeping standards
12. Employees are held accountable for all duties of the job
13. Responsible for strict adherence to all company/departmental policies and procedures related to safety and conduct rules and other regulations
14. Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor
" Highly motivated self starter
" Requires 3-6 months of relevant manufacturing experience
" Good math skills
" Basic blueprint reading, reading, & writing skills
" Regular attendance is required; punctual, dependable
" Strong attention to detail
" Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
" Interpersonal skills & friendly positive attitude
" Ability to function well in a team environment
" Ability to respond to ever changing demands with a positive attitude
" Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or touch objects, tools, or controls
" Vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision & depth perception
" Occasionally required to sit, reach above shoulders, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, squat, & bend
" Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
" Maintains a safe and clean work environment
" Ability to work overtime when required
