SEEK Careers/Staffing, Inc. believes that the success of its business is a direct result of its professional consulting staff. To that end, SEEK's priority is to select only qualified individuals who exhibit listening skills, dedication, honesty, attention to detail, follow through and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. After hiring, SEEK continues to educate and train through the various activities listed below:

  • Two weeks of intensive training at the SEEK Corporate office.
  • Follow-up training within the first two months.
  • On-the-job training within the SEEK branch.
  • Daily help and additional training from a mentor.
  • Educational seminars, $400 annual stipend.
  • Monthly training meetings for all staff in each division or specialty.
  • Access to an extensive SEEK library of informative videos, tapes, CD's and books.
  • University tuition reimbursement.


SEEK employs 3 Senior Professionals in Human Resources (SPHR), 10 Professionals in Human Resources (PHR), 6 Certified Personnel Consultants (CPC), 55 Certified Staffing Professionals (CSP), 1 Certified Internet Webmaster and 1 Certified Public Accountant. Established by the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS), the CSP program ensures quality in the three-way relationship among employees, staffing services and client businesses. The exam tests knowledge of staffing operations, Equal Employment Opportunity law, business situations and ethical standards of business practices.



Carol Ann Schneider, CPC, SPHR

Carol's professional career began in 1958 when she taught business education at Grafton High School. Similar positions at Random Lake High School and Port Washington High School prefaced a career change to the Port Washington Vocational, Technical and Adult School in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Eventually that school was merged with Milwaukee Area Technical College, where she held the position of Business Division Chair at the North Campus. Her affiliations with these educational institutions continued through 1980. During that time, Carol continued her education with graduate-level courses at the University of Wisconsin.

On February 2, 1971, Carol Ann Schneider founded SEEK Careers/Staffing (Originally, "CEEK Office Services"). She has grown SEEK throughout Wisconsin and currently has 14 branches. By 1996, Schneider added The Schneider Company, LLC to her list of accomplishments. In 1998, she founded SEEK Professionals, LLC. SEEK Professionals places middle and senior management and IT professionals. Carol's most recent endeavor involved launching Guardian HealthStaff, LLC with Kimberley Noon, CSP, SPHR, a longtime member of SEEK's leadership team.

Carol totally embraces the concept of community involvement, Schneider has written that requirement into her company's job descriptions. Many of her team members have been involved with Junior Achievement over the years, as this is one organization that she and SEEK hold in high regard.

Schneider gives back to her community in too many other ways to mention. Here are just a few. She helped found the Ozaukee Workforce 2010 program and created Ozaukee Workplace Learning. Carol was the driving force behind the Ozaukee County Transportation Management Association, which resulted in public transportation for Ozaukee County.Following that, she mentored the Washington County Transportation Association until that county also had public transportation. The U.S. Small Business Administration honored her for her efforts to training welfare recipients enrolled in Wisconsin Works. Schneider also served as the fund raising chair for the Grafton Library and her Church.



Joel A. Schneider, CSP
President


Joel Schneider, formerly Vice President of Operations for SEEK Careers/Staffing, has more than 18 years of experience in the staffing services industry. He established SEEK's branch offices in West Bend, Fond du Lac, Oshkosh, Appleton, Green Bay and Wausau.

Joel has served as the Personnel Management Associate (PMA) President in Ozaukee and Washington Counties from 1999 to 2003. For over ten years, Joel has been active in the West Bend Rotary.




Debbie Fedel, CSP, PHR
Vice President-Business Development


Debbie has been with SEEK since 1987. She has over 20 years of staffing industry experience and over 22 years of sales experience. She received a Bachelors of Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a major in social work. She has served as a Branch Team Leader, Client Services Representative, District Team Leader and Quality Assurance Director. She oversees the client satisfaction and marketing for SEEK.

Debbie earned her Professional Human Resources (PHR) certificate in 1997. She is the past president of the Society of Human Resources Managers (SHRM) for the Sheboygan Area Chapter. She is also a member of HRMA, Sheboygan Training Round Table and on the Board of Directors for Portal Industries.



Sara Pattow, CSP, PHR
Vice President-Operations


Sara has over 11 years of staffing industry experience and over 20 years of experience in customer service and sales with a strong emphasis on client and team member relations. She started with SEEK in 1993 and has served as a Staffing Consultant, Client Services Representative, Team Leader, District Team Leader and Region Team Leader. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing operational policies, motivating and developing staff and continuing to grow SEEK's brand nationally.

Sara earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certificate in 1999. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Sheboygan Area Chapter of SHRM. Currently, Sara is a national member of SHRM and ASA (American Staffing Association) and serves as a member on the Corporate Responsibility Committee.




Ray Odya, SPHR, CSP
Human Resources and
Legal Affairs Director


Ray has over 30 years of Human Resources experience as a director, consultant and educator and joined SEEK Careers/Staffing in January of 1993 as Human Resources and Legal Affairs Director.

In 1973, Ray earned a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He has also served as a graduate level instructor in Business Management at Cardinal Stritch University. Ray has also been recognized at both the State and Federal levels for his knowledge on Employment Law. While at SEEK he has conducted dozens of custom designed HR/Employment Law seminars and workshops for business groups and client companies.

Prior to joining SEEK, Ray was a Co-Founder and Director of the Greater Milwaukee Re-Employment Corporation, MATC HIRE Center.




Randy E. Matter, CPA, CSP
Vice President - Finance


Randy oversees the activities of the accounting department and works with reporting and control systems, insurances and employee benefits, cash management and financial planning for the organization. He joined SEEK Careers/Staffing in 1998 as the Director of Accounting.

Randy has over 20 years of accounting experience and 15 years of management experience. He received a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a major in Accounting. He earned his CPA designation in 1988. He is a member of the Jackson Area Business Association and holds the Treasurer position with the association.
